Cake for Two
The sweetness of you
Halo and Horns
I see you under your halo, and the light is soft blue. You sit and wonder about the life you’ve been through. Looking at me with sorrowful eyes, you point to the horns that you cannot hide. You assume how can someone love a monster as greedy as you? Uncontrollable hunger cripples you, constantly falling deeper into a slippery slope that never ends!!
Shh… my darling, look into my eyes and hold my hands; please do not cry. That bolder you carry upon your back are the huntings you take from the past. If you do not know who you seek, I’ll walk with you until you know me. You are never alone; your hand covers your eyes, and a light like yours is ever so bright. The innocence you value and hold in high esteem is the thing you've hidden under judgments of greed.
The moments you spend here, in this beautiful place, have turned into eternity without grace. You solidified and made the illusion so true you forgot the wings on the back of you. Take for granted the temple you reside in and the elements of freedom you accepted at a price. My dearest love, it's all a hoax tied with a ribbon for false hopes. I promise you will get through this together.
I see your halo, a soft, beautiful blue. Rest your hands in mine, and I'll lead you.
The Sweetness of You
What is this flavor you present to me, so delectable and layered? There is something about it I cannot oppose; you have designed it so well that my heart spoke.
Sweet vanilla and cinnamon warm my senses. With this dance, you are showing I must give in, strawberry and orange glitter my eyes, chocolate and raspberry ribbons the sky. What is this spun sugar, fluffy laughter from you? It melts my soul to hear you giggle. Your smile is of Banana mango with sunset coconut in your eyes. Your voice is of warm golden honey as you sing.
You are the sweetness that lights my way; I'll dream of your cherry kisses all day.
Cake for Two
Today is our day, let's dress like the Gods. Relax in a bath of milk and honey, and floral essences nourish our skin. indulge in our scent, and taste the fruit of our labor. We celebrate us, we have come far. Under the candlelight, we hold hands, ocean water, and sand. We dance to the deep melody of the saxophone under the moon, you in my arms and I'm in yours too. Tonight we have cake for two.

Absolutely beautiful, Wanda! From the poetic prose gliding us along in rhythmic song to the beautiful finale of visual delight. This is a gorgeous work of sacred art. Thank you for sharing this glittering, sparkling, mystical deliciousness with us.
